Buy – Hudson Young 687K BE 39
After a slow start to the season Hudson dropped some cash and is now sitting in the high 600s with a breakeven in the high 30s, a last three average of 57 and last 5 average of 55 having just finished his bye and playing all the way through to Rd 15 including the Rd 13 bye. Having found form and other edge cheapies close to or peaking currently it’s the perfect time to get Huddy into your team, there’s no need to worry about the Stuart factor with this one either as Hudson young is one of the only sure things in this Raiders team in terms of role consistency. Must for overall players.
Sell – Izaac Thompson 363K BE 20
After making minimal money with up and down scores most held on due to the friendly bye cover and handy dual position but with Izaac no longer being injured he’s just unable to make the bunnies best 17 right now with cheapies like Bula and Te Whare appearing its time to cut the loses and move on. Sell
Cheapie – Jahream Bula 290K BE -4
After managing two respectable scores against decent opposition bula comes into the week just under 300k with a breakeven in the negatives whilst playing the dragons this week he has the ingredients as a solid buy for some of those failed or peaked cows. Buy
Gamble of the week – Nelson Asofa-Solomona 670K BE 32
NAS started the year firing before being struck down by a lengthy MCL injury but he was showing no signs of that when he returned in round 8 and looked like a safer version of TPJ, doesn’t play round 13 but plays 16 and the rounds in the middle, with no chance of origin and looking like the de fatco leader of the storm pack especially if welch is called up for origin he could very well be a cut price keeper for the tricky middle part of the season but with break even in the low 30s and a price in the high 600s it might be now or never.
POD Captain- Isaah Yeo 882K BE 65
For those that have the expansion pack Yeo firms as a solid captain option with a last 3 average of 67 having bested Nathan Cleary the last three weeks as well showing if you have both either is a solid option given that whilst playing the full 80mintues Yeo’s lowest score is 58 and before that it was 55 in 70mins whilst on occasion he pumps out a high 60s or low 70s score without doing anything flashy, if Yeo gets some attacking stats one week there’s a big score looming.
