Week 4

GW4 Blog

Gameweek 4 is upon us , a Gameweek of home matches which brings excitement to FPL managers after a Gameweek 3 which decimated the big at the back strategy.

The gameweek saw 0 point scores for the likes of Cancelo and Trent Alexander Arnold and 1 pointer for Reece James, however the emergence of Ivan Perisic (5.5m) is an exciting one with Spurs playing away to Nottingham Forest this Gameweek.

The Gameweek saw some low scores from the key Captain choices Salah and Haaland but expect these scores to change as they both face home games this week.

Odegaard (6.4m) gained 16pts which surprised many managers as he outscored both Martinelli and Saka in Arsenals win against AFC Bournemouth . We also saw Jack Harrison (6.0m) emerge as a midfield bargain and Rodrigo (6.3m) continue his hot streak.

Gameweek 4 is set to be a huge week with Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea all playing home fixtures. A large number of FPL managers have a full starting Eleven of home fixtures.

Last weeks differential Zaha ended up with a 12pt haul so let’s hope for a similar result this week, Here’s this weeks differential <10% ownership who is under looked for Gameweek 4. It’s Chelsea’s summer recruit Raheem Sterling, he’s an FPL legend but has yet to hit the heights of his Manchester City form. However this week he plays a leaky Leicester defence and a drop in price at 9.9m with a 5.1% selection makes him in intriguing pick.

He’s yet to break his duck for Chelsea but he’s getting closer by the week , could this be his opportunity in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful?

He plays Aston Villa at home this week who are yet to keep a clean sheet this season. He’s a brilliant value pick if you are looking to switch out the likes of Coutinho or Rashford.

As always thank you everyone for reading and Good luck for Gameweek 4.
