A-LEAGUE WEEK 1

FIXTURES

PREDICTIONS

Melbourne City Vs Brisbane Roar

I could see City getting off to a flying start with a comfortable win with an array of attacking options in Mclaren/Leckie/Nabbout and Metcalfe. CITY 3-1

Western Sydney Vs Sydney FC

This is going to be a cracking addition of the Sydney Derby with end to end attack. This could be a highscoring affair with Sydney FC just taking the spoils. SYD FC 3-2

Western United Vs Melb Victory

This could be a cagey affair with both teams wanting to get off to a good start. Both sides have some good attacking weapons so i could see there being a few chances but im tipping even spoils here. DRAW 1-1

Perth Glory vs Adelaide United

I think Perth will hit the ground running in what could be a very open game. With Sturridge and Fornaroli up front i could see them having too much for Adelaide. GLORY 2-0

Newcastle Jets vs Central Coast

This could be one of the most entertaining F3 Derbies we have had since the early days. I could see this being a very attacking end to end game with alot alot of chances. I’m tipping the jets to have just enough to get the win here in an entertaining game. JETS 2-1

Macarthur FC vs Wellington

I could see this game being quite an open affair with new players trying to get off to a good start. I think Macarthur can kick the season off with a tightly contested game. MACARTHUR 2-1
