On his day, he is devastating, capable of scoring 35 points in 8 mins, but he is also capable of scoring 9 points in a full 80 at fullback with only 32 run metres. His career fullback stats in full games are about 33 points, and Wayne Bennett SHOULD be able to get the most out of him, but it won’t be a fun rollercoaster at times.

Surprisingly, there is a bit of value here for Jamayne, but he is the worst of a big bunch of cheapies that are options, and doesnt quite meet our upside thresholds.
This position is hotly contested, with Robert Jennings and rookie Valynce Te Whare in the hunt.

Normally a 230k half cashie would be a slam dunk buy, but the Dolphins will be searching for wins and a young half with competition in the wings is a prime candidate to be dropped if it goes pear shaped. We will probably buy, but acknowledge concerns in job security.

O’Sullivan is an interesting option, particularly if the ‘Phins decide to go for one of the non-Jamayne Isaako scenarios where he becomes the primary goal kicker. Milford probably steals just enough to ruin O’Sullivan for fantasy managers, but keep an eye on him.

You wouldn’t know it from his performance in 2022, but Gilberts preferred position is “big minute middle forward”, which is exactly what he should be asked to do in 2023.
