FULLBACK
TYRELL SLOAN
WFB $250K (17 BE)
A basement price fullback doesnt need a lot of selling, and even with a round 1 bye we feel confident this is a risk worth taking. We would suggest putting Sloan in your loop slot after round 1.
PROJECTION: 30-35 PPG
WINGER
MATTHEW FEAGAI
WFB $406K (28 BE)
Made his price rises already, and now joins the slew of fantasy irrelevant wingers in the NRL.
PROJECTION: 27-32 PPG

CENTRE
ZAC LOMAX
CTR $616K (42 BE)
A gun centre, but thats not where you want to spend your money in round 1.
PROJECTION: 41-44 PPG

CENTRE
MOSES SULI
CTR $563K (39 BE)
If anything, maybe a little overpriced to start 2023.
PROJECTION: 35-40 PPG

WINGER
MIKAELE RAVALAWA
WFB $413K (29 BE)
There should be some small amount of value here for Ravalawa, but not enough to warrant consideration.
PROJECTION: 30-33 PPG

FIVE-EIGHTH
JAYDEN SULLIVAN
HLF $340K (23 BE)
The youngster re-signed with the plan to play the long game, which seems to have been a sharp decision as he has been thrust into the side following some off field indiscretions by fellow youngster Talatau Amone. In 4 halves appearances, Sullivan has shown a fairly lacklustre fantasy point scoring ability, and been propped up in two games by kick metres he won’t get partnering Ben Hunt. Strong consideration was given to a “trap” label here, and he may yet be downgraded.
PROJECTION: 30-33 PPG
HALFBACK
BEN HUNT
HLF $646K (44 BE)
For some unknown reason, Hunt’s average tackle count last year dropped by almost 10 – from 22.5 to 12.5 per game – and with it his Fantasy average. Nobody knows why, but if it goes back up he is a steal.
PROJECTION: 45-50 PPG
PROP
ZANE MUSGROVE
MID $420K (29 BE)
You could put your house on him pumping out somewhere between 27 and 30.
PROJECTION: 27-30 PPG

PROP
BLAKE LAWRIE
MID $537K (37 BE)
Solid and dependable for the Dragons, but unfortunately the same for fantasy managers with no upside.
PROJECTION: 39-44 PPG

LOCK
JACK DE BELIN
MID $681K (47 BE)
Lets get this straight out of the way – Fantasy Football is not a popularity contest. With the Dragons desperate for on field leadership after both Sims (Storm) and McCullough (retirement) leaving, the Dragons likely look to De Belin to play his usual 60ish minutes, which has always meant Fantasy success.
PROJECTION: 49-54 PPG
EDGE
JADYN SU’A
EDG $620K (42 BE)
No value here after a solid but unremarkable season from Su’a.
PROJECTION: 41-44 PPG

EDGE
JACK BIRD
EDG/CTR $607K (41 BE)
Definitely some value here for Jack, and with the Dual Position eligibility he becomes an interesting selection option for people looking to “gun up” at the position.
*FULL CREDIT TO LAST YEARS WINNER WILL, WHO POINTED US BACK TO BIRD AFTER US MISSING HIS CTR DUAL WITHIN 15 MINS OF PAGE GOING LIVE*
PROJECTION: 43-48 PPG
HOOKER
JACOB LIDDLE
HOK $571K (39 BE)
A surprisingly interesting option, Liddle moves across from the Tigers to the Dragons, and looks set for a near 80 minute role. He looks to hold some value, but is it enough?
PROJECTION: 45-50 PPG
THE BENCH
PROP
AARON WOODS
MID $398K (27 BE)
Hard to see a path to relevance for this former fantasy gun.
PROJECTION: 25-30 PPG
PROP
JOSH KERR
EDG $382K (26 BE)
As with Woods, likely not enough minutes available for anything meaningful.
PROJECTION: 22-27 PPG
BENCH FORWARD
BEN MURDOCH-MASILA
EDG $250K (17 BE)
While cheap, he is that way for a reason, and needs a starting edge role to be considered a fantasy option.
PROJECTION: 15-20 PPG
UTILITY
MOSES MBYE
CTR/WFB $300K (21 BE)
Bench utility is not a desirable fantasy position.
PROJECTION: 18-23 PPG

What’s the thoughts on Sloan? Inconsistent I know but with Ramsey likely out for a few weeks or even more, if you had him in the emergencies surely he’d make some money?

All the mail we have recently is that Ramsey will be ready to go week 1. If that looks unlikely closer to round 1 we will take another look, but for now we are fairly confident Sloan won’t be fantasy relevant, and likely not in the team at all.
