WEEK 3 WAIVER TARGETS

We take a look at the week 3 waiver wire players you need to be trying to add to your roster

RUNNING BACK

Cordarrelle Patterson – Atlanta Falcons

The former first round Wide Receiver turned Pro bowl Returner is now a part of Atlanta’s new one- two punch at running back. With Patterson’s experience across the field he’s actually outplayed Mike Davis through 2 weeks. With Matt Ryan struggling with pass protection Patterson could become a viable flex option again after his 69 yards, 2 td game against a stingy Tampa Bay defence

J.D Mckissic – Washington Football Team

In week 1 Mckissic only had 1 rush and 1 target, then in week 2 gets 9 touches for 93 yards and a td on the goal line. Basically, Mckissic is a flex play in negative or neutral game scripts, which Washington may be in a lot with the defense not performing as expected.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Rondale Moore – Arizona Cardinals

The Fantasy Amateurs picked this coming last week and didn’t he deliver for the brave few who started him with 7/114/1 stat line. The good news is he’s still available in a lot of leagues so get on your waivers and try get him.

Tim Patrick – Denver Broncos

A popular waiver target last week, he delivered another touchdown game in back to back weeks. His 6’4″ frame is definitely a red zone target for Teddy B and with Jerry Juedy out for another 4-5 weeks Patrick should continue to be productive

Henry Ruggs – Las Vegas Raiders

Once Carr got his eyes off Waller, wouldn’t you know it, he found Ruggs for a 61 yard touchdown. the more positive news was he had 4 other catches for an additional 52. Although hes got a tough match-up next week with Xavier Howard and the Miami Dolphins he’s still worth a stash and see.

TIGHT END

Austin Hooper – Cleveland Browns

With Jarvis Landry out with a MCL sprain and OBJ still not 100% after Tearing his ACL last season, Hooper has again emerged as a viable option in this low volume pass game. He’s still touchdown dependent but he’s far from the worst option to start at tight end in week 3 against a shaky bears defence
